I have started changing everything on a 94 vette lt1 to camaro spec, as I'm using this motor for a swap into my 95 3.4 camaro and I have a few questions. I already have the camaro lt1 oil pan, accesory bracket, power steering pump, alternator, ac compressor, waterpump, new distrubtor, fuelrails, and don't have to worry about the air pump because it's not there on the vette motor. I also removed the egr and plumbing (I'll have this stuff programmed out). I've noticed the oil level pressure sensor is different and plan on replacing it with one from a camaro. Right now my biggest question is about the coil and ignitionl control module- they are on the passenger side head on the vette lt1 and they are supposed to be on the driver's side on a camaro lt1. I know I'll have to move them or else I won't be able to mount the accesory bracket, but what do I need to mount them- is there a bracket or something or do they just bolt right to the head? I've been on shoebox's sight and that has been a great help but there is no exploded mounting view for these. In shoebox's location coil picture it looks like there is some sort of cast aluminum bracket below the coil- what is this and what is it's purpose? What else am I over looking? I've got to clean the motor up and than I'll start putting it back together so any help is greatly appreciated and sorry about the length of this post.

 

There is a bracket that mounts the coil and ignition module, maybe you could pick one up in a junkyard? How is the vette stuff mounted?

 

there's a mount on the vette but I don't think the holes will line up on the driver's side head. I'll have to take a look tommorrow when I'm working on it. thanks.
