94 LT1 needs healthier cam
94 LT1 needs healthier cam
daily driver auto, getting convertor and has 3.73's that are staying. Has cold air headers etc.
not my car but my best friend's car.....has some lame crane unit in it....needs more cam while the engine is out.
okay its a crane computer cam 2033

Doin the speedpro forged piston stroker kit which will bring things up to 10.4-1 In the speedshop today I was talking with the guys and saw the comp 306 in the catalog.....said okay we'll do that and throw a 2500 stall in it and call it a day......now I'm reading and my buddy's exact words were is the car gonna shake itself apart......in a bit of reading through searches I'm thinking maybe there's a slightly more streetable cam for it. I personally wouldn't care, I drive a tahoe with a 502 ramjet and a 200 shot daily with no cats.....but he's a lil more tame, but this lame *** cam with a 1800 stall just ain't doing the car justice, my 03 Z06 destroyed it stock from a roll as it was... Would like something off the shelf since we're tryin to get this thing back together late this week or early next...
convertor is still up in the air, I can change the order on it, for tuning I was gonna talk to pcmsforless, no chance of nitrous in teh car (he's a wuss and despises it) I might talk him into forced induction, but for all planning purposes the car is staying NA.

The 306 is gonna be lumpy at idle. The stall would need to be in the 3400-3600 rpms range. By the sounds of it the 305 would be a better choice and still a bigger stall than 2500 more like 2800-3000.
