I have a 94 lt1. New opti,plugs,wires,coil,cold air intake. When cold shes a demon.Hot if I put a load on her she does not fire then kicks in then hesitates again and again.When she hesitates she smells of fuel, Its almost like the cpu is cutting spark. Any ideas?

Hows the ignition control module? You can test it for free at Autozone.

 

Please dont hold it against me but I'm not a mechanic. I cant find a scan tool form my car they are all 96 and up.

I would check your ICM as well and space it from the head a bit they are known for getting heatsoaked and acting funny.

Dude try the ignition control module my 94 camaro had the same prob she started like a monster and as soon as it ran for a bit she would act funny and run sluggish.hooked it to my scanned and thats what it was fixed the prob

 

Is the icm bolted just above the ignition coil on the same bracket? Pics of new ones dont look the same.
