I have a 94 firebird formula that is showing a code 29, it comes on with the engine fan, and goes off with the cooling fan, anyone had this problem before? also the car has a starting problem were it takes an unusual amount of time to crank, it turns over at normal speed it just takes a lot more time to actual start, my 95 z28 fires right up as you hit the key. fuel pressure shows within specs. Not a super emergency just annoying, it always starts and runs strong, just takes too long to start, sounds like a piece of crap when it takes a couple of times to crank.

The standard answer for DTC 29 is check the AIR pump fuse. The fans come on in the presence of most DTCs. That is normal.
