94-95 Y-pipe on a 97???

Can a Y-pipe from a 94-95 work on a 97 if I get rid of the cats and use 02 simms. Also could the borla y-pipe work? My cat's are clogged and I am thinking about a borla y-pipe and then a 3" bullet muffler and dump right before the axel with some 3" piping. Currently I have all stock exhaust except I cut off the muffler. Thanks

They will not mate up with your manifolds, you will need to swap those too.

DM is right..

i can hook you up with some 95 manifolds if you are interested. they are a friend of mines but im sure hed let them go cheap. you could always just buy 94-95 headers like i did and that will get rid of the cats. but as for them being clogged... if youre trying to track down a problem then i would look at soemthing else. your car has 2 cats so i really dont see how they would get clogged.. mine were fine when i pulled them off at 70k.

I think I will just go ahead and go with long tubes. I was just curious if the y-pipes matched up or not. If they would have I would've considered getting the borla y-pipe and then run a stall, but I think I will just put my money into headers instead. Thanks for the help.
