93 Z leaking oil out of front cover
I just pulled everything down and changed the water pump seal and o rings on the drive for it... Fired it back up and its leaking again.. I checked the opti spark seal when I had it apart and it looked brand new (only 10k miles on motor) but it seems like that is the one that is leaking... Is there any special way to install it??? It is definately not the pan because I watched it leak out from the timing cover...
Also, the car seems to over heat with the AC on... If I sit at idle for a while on a warm day the car will over heat with the AC. It will not over heat when it is off, and as a matter of fact it cools down rather quickly when the AC is off.
Thanks again for ANY help.

Re: 93 Z leaking oil out of front cover
I used a small sleeve to put around the shaft coming out of the front cover so it would not cut the seal (the second time ) I cut the first one and changed it again... Thanks for the quick reply!

Well i tore it all down and its definately the seal in the front cover for the opti spark, the water pump one is still good and no loose oil around it... Are there any tricks to installing the opti spark seal so it wont leak?

Hrm... not sure then.
The opti seal has no real particular way of installing. The one that always works for me is to tap it in evenly with a block of wood and a hammer, then snug it in properly.
