I have ported heads with larger intake 2.00/exhaust 1.60, pcmforless chip, SLP midlength headers, Flowmaster muffler, and Hotcam. 93 Z28 M6
I only mustered 300hp 316tq on the dyno. I know this has to be low.
I still have stock injectors and the last time I read my fuel pressue it was at 36psi. I think this is low reading. Curious on what my problem is.
Compression test within paramerters, lowest reading 155 and the highest 160psi.
The only driveability problem I have is a buck under light throttle and lopey idle, goes between 750rpm to 850rpm. I was told by another Comp Cam user this is normal for my cam.
Any suggestions?

 

well for one was your fuel pressure reading taken with the vaccume disconnected ? if disconnected that is low and a new filter and maybe a pump should be considered

you also need bigger injectors at least a step higher with 24's but 28's or 30's would be better just get programing for them

and what your feeling is a little cam surge

 

Well I have a 95, PCMforless did my tune. I picked up almost .4 in the 1/8, and 3+MPH. However, I don't think the guy that programs the 94 and up PCMs does the chip work.

What kind of shape are your plugs/wires etc. in?

IMO with some good head work your combo should be good for mid 300 rwhp. Good luck in getting it sorted out.
