93 Coolent flush! (not a commmon question)

93 Coolent flush! (not a commmon question)

I have a 93 z28 camaro and i was going to flush the coolent. I read shoebox website and everything seems to be great but i have a 93 and there is no knock sensor? So what is on the other side if there is no knock modual?

On a 93, the knock sensor should be located on the passenger side of the block. The right side will have a screw in plug.

i didnt think that 93 have knock moduales?

93's do have knock sensors but they don't run a traditional knock module like the 94-97s do.

Yes, '93s do have a knock sensor behind the starter.

A 1993 computer does not have a replaceable knock module.
You are confusing two different things. The module is in the computer and the sensor is on the block (same place on all 4th gens).

Have fun unscrewing (and re-screwing) that plug on the driver's side. I finally took a torch and bent a wrench into a shape that would work. Like to never got it back in. It is one of those places like the #8 sparkplug that you can touch and not much else.
