Question 918 Beehives...LT1 compatible?

The 918 Beehive valve springs from COMP cams (COMP Cams 26918-16 ) do work on the LT1 right? Do i have to change studs?

Yes they are compatible and work very well. You will need the retainers and other hardware to make them work. I run the 10 deg. locks with an installed height of around .050 over stock and have had no issues at all.

i know its not the for sale fourum but i have a set of comp 928 beehove springs with 10 degree locks and retainers all new. installed but never run. i ended up going with a bigger cam than i thought. the 928 springs are the ones that replaced the 918 springs that were known to have problems. i would sell the whole set for 225 shipped.

I have the PAC springs as well. After everyone started talking about the bad 918's I'd rather just be on the side of caution and get the PAC's
