Sanity Check, just primed the engine

Just primed the engine, cordless handheld drill. Got up to 35 psi confirmed on a mechanical gauge. So ya think I'm good to go putting the intake on and firing this thing up?

Besides, pistons rods and crank, EVERYTHING is brand new. Just want a little confidence before I put this thing in lol.

As long as oil came out the top of your pushrods and onto the rockers you are fine. If it didn't then you don't have the right primer.

With a cordless drill I highly doubt oil was able to make it to the rockers. If you do register that kind of psi then the only thing I would do is make sure to liberally coat the rockers/valvetrain with oil before starting and that means even coating the pushrod tip that seats into the rocker cup with either oil or assy. lube.

I only got a very very light trickle of oil at the pushrods, was barely noticable. Assembly lube was used on the ends of the pushrod tips. And oil was poured all over the rockers. So from the looks of it, seems like I'm good to go! Hopefully the engine will be completely in by this weekend and I'll let you guys know how it goes.
