9 engine codes....

I took it in to the shop today, to get a nail out of my tire, and to see if they could give me an estimate on how much it would cost to fix whatevers wrong with it and it turns out that i have 9 different "codes" comming up including-

21
22
86
62
63
66
57
58
33

does anyone know where i can find a list that will discribe what the code numbers mean? or does anyone know? the guy at the shop told me to take the car to a dealer. but i want to get an idea of what im getting into.

thanks

Click the "DTCs" link in my sig.

I would bet that many of those are old, stored codes. Your PCM probably needs to be reset, so that you can see what trouble might be current.

Re: 9 engine codes....

Usually a high number of un-related codes are due to a faulty alternator. This is allowing the battery voltage to go below threshold at the PCM.

After you clear all the codes, if you can see what the ign voltage is as reported by the PCM while your scanning it.

Measure the voltage at the battery while it's running to be sure it is at least 14 volts.

The interesting thing is the at least 3 of those codes (57, 62, 86) are not on any lists that I have seen for the LT1.
