Re: what plugs to run

i have the ac delco platinum plugs but while running at idle it will run fine, but when you get on it, it will pop. i can adjust the timing, and the idle will run rough but when you get on it, it will be seriously lacking power. i know i also need a set of msd wires to go with the ignition. do you think that could also be the case too? i think i will try the ngk's. thanks for the input guys. talk to you later. matt

Re: what plugs to run

Try Autolite 103s and gap them at .035. They are dirt cheap. The 103 is a one step colder than stock (stock is the 104).

Re: what plugs to run

I would try NGK or Autolite myself, I've seen the platinum tips burn off the AC Delco when you use them on a modded car.

Yeah- i burnt mine off- but i just thought it was because i was using the nitrous- so i changed to regular AC Delco CR45 's....

BTW- REDBIRD- I bought my MSD wires and LT1 blaster coil for 125 shipped from summit ( but im using an Opti- so it might be different for you..)

Re: what plugs to run

I'm also shopping for new plugs. What about the NGK TR55 Iridium IX plugs? Supposed to be better then just the regular TR55's.
