You have a '94, your SES light will only come on for something that has to do with the MAF, something along the lines of the car getting more air then the MAF is reading or the MAF is unplugged. Other than that the SES will very rarely ever come on.

When you do the data logging, do about 5 min. of normal driving, a couple WOT runs and some highway driving then stop at the gas station Put it in .csv format and post up the log.

False assumption. Just because the SES light isn't on, that doesn't mean that nothing is wrong. It is possible that the light is burned out, could be disconnected, or the computer could just be malfunctioning. On top of that, the codes could have been clearned before you bought it and it hasn't tripped another one yet.

+1 for cleaning the dirty MAF sensor. A simple can of carb cleaner will do you well.

i got 27 mpg on the highway the other day......


sorry, just felt like being a dick.

certainly makes me rethink a head/cam upgrade.

You should do a general tune up on it. I replaced the plugs on mine and I went from 17 to 22 mpg and no more clouds of unburnt gas spewing out the tailpipes.

i think im going with a diesel jette or golf and ill leave the camaro for the weekend.

im almost done with the converter but its hot out here in california so i have to wait till it gets dark si i can get a couple hours on it. but either way im changing out the plugs and maybe the wires but they look like a bitch to do.
