What needs to be done to use 7/16" studs with the Comp Cams Pro Mag? It says simple 15min thing with no machining. Is it just threaded like a 5/8's? What i am wondering is what you do in that 15 minutes? Make clearance on the valve covers?

 

im pretty sure that they both have the same size base for the studs so you just replace the factory ones and stick on the 7/16" ones. but i havent installed mine yet so im not sure.

 

Yep the 3/8s studs and 7/16s studs both have the same base size, the upper stud is where the difference is at. No machining is necessary, you just need rockers with the right sized hole and poly locks.

 

Yeah, its just a metter of unscrewing the stockers and screwing the 7/16s in along with your guideplates if you are going NSA. 55 ft lbs if I remember right.
