Question 6 speed tranny removal

When you removed your tranny, did you take it out with or without the bellhousing attached to it? I can't seem to gain access to the top tranny to bellhousing bolt on the right side of the car. I tried taking it out with the bellhousing, but it's a no go.

Make up 3 foot extension and swivel socket. Several short ones will allow a "curved" extension. You can reach it!
Took mine out with belhousing, rolled it a few degrees. put it back in separatley.

I got it out without removing the bellhousing. Now, when the time comes, getting that top right side bolt back in should be interesting! Thanks for the replies guys...I really should've posted this in the drivetrain forum...I forgot it was there.
