5k rpm stumble FIXED!!!

well, after 3 hours on the very front passenger plug and 45 mins to do all other plugs and wires , a new coil, coil wire, an lt4 KM , and most importantly some fresh heat transfer grease in the coil assembly, my 5k rpm stumble/miss/hickup is FINALLY fixed. I think it boiled down to the coil and coil wire mostly (they were pretty fried) and also once i got the old plugs out, lots were gapped way too large...

While i was under there i found and fixed a massive exhaust leak and a bolt was missing from the gear cover thing on the back axle (I'm a mechanic moron...but I'm learning).

Hope this helps some of you out there w/ the 5k rpm problem...i'm so much happier w/ my car now!

i had a high rpm stumble a few months ago also. like yours, my coil and coil wire were real corroded. i pissed me off so bad, but once i got it fixed, it was like night and day. it's nice to have a smooth running car again!
