I have heard these are the same except for the extra attachment for the kick down cable on the ealeir version, for the non-electric auto trans.
I have a 95 6 spd, so could I use a TB for the earlier 92-93 model, since I don't have an auto?

Right, so other than that are they the same?
Will a 92-93 version work on a 95 without any problems or modifications to the TB? It seems like they would have continued with the earlier version, and people would just not use the extra attachment if not needed, instead on making 2 models. Seems like there must be something else?

I have a 93 tb on my 95 motor. I used it so I could hookup the kickdown cable for the 700R4. I swaped the sensor on the bottom of the tb (name?)with the one off the 95 tb because it looked different. Might have worked the same, but I already had the other one so I changed it while it was off.
