.568 lift to much for daily driver?
.568 lift to much for daily driver?
just picked up a custom cam and it's got .568 lift with 1.6rr and .528 with 1.5
I'm currently running the hotcam with my 1.6 rr and i was thinking of swapping to 1.5 because I'm afraid of breaking a spring at that much lift on a daily driven car.
Any opinions?? experiences?
edit: i will be running 918 springs

Soon to be on some different springs though. These did their job, but wore out really quick.
I know of a motor with .630ish lift on some .550 springs. More to springs than their "recommended" lift.

.568" here also...Probably the same or similar to Myzb383's. No problems at all. As long as the supporting valve train can handle it, you're fine. These days .568" isn't at all that big...
