Well I have a Dodge Ram with the Hemi and I love it. People are saying the heads really arent like those of a true hemi. While this is true dont let it mislead you to thinking they dont flow well. These heads flow EXCELLENT, and Ho rod with just a cam swap on a mostly stock engine (only had headers)
picked up 80 something hp. I love my HEMI. My goal for it is to make it BEAT an SRT-10. Im gonna have to cam it and do some head work and if that doesnt get me there I will strap a blower to it. hehe

well reguardless, I wouldn't worry about a new dodge hemi anything smoking you on the streets.
You know how many of those stupid truck owners try to race me in their big "hemmmmmmmmi"

If I remember correctly the cars that the 5.4 DOHC motor was in was lightened pretty good and limited production.
Lets hand build any motor and watch the power come up , even with same parts. Comparing that motor to a mass assembly line motor is silly.

I run into this on the street all the time. A Ford without a blower or the bottle is just like any other "boat anchor". The ONLY reason any of the 5.0 Mustangs ran, or were so popular is because of the light weight...NOT THE HP!Frank
