I guess I just have a freak "94 style" opti, it sees 7600 shift points and bounced off 8k chip a few times comin out the burnout box...the opti isnt as bad as people make it out to be...

oh yea..forgot you had that. Hey..would you recommend dfi or fast?

Not that I need it because my cam/heads run out of steam at 7000.'

Joe, Have you had any success at going in an opti and cleaning it up. I have a brand new one here...with about 8 miles on it that broke the "imput shaft" that connects it to the cam. GM wouldn't take it back..even though I just got it from the a week or so befor but misplaced my receipt. Can I just change the internals?

I'm with you on the work in progress, Steve. My 11.41 pass was on the first night to the track it didnt break anything. The car had been to the track two previous times, never making a pass due to breaking the 12 bolt and then tearing a torque arm in half.

So much for a work in progress...
I've finally had the last straw at my job today.
TA is going up for sale. This way I can pay off a few bills and tell my employer to go to hell.
$hitty way for this project to end, but that's life!
Steve...

Sorry to hear that Steve. I was really hoping to see your heads/cam LT1 get some 10 sec passes!!! I still think you should go out one last time and get one 10 sec pass on motor. Anyway, congrats on the R&R you have done for the LT1, and hopefully one day you will be back in it.
