I would guess you are talking about me. My new setup made 413rwhp at 5,400 feet elevation. corrected for sea level it made 500rwhp. Here is Albuquerque I run 11.30's@122mph. N/A and altitude does suck.

I have an LE3 383 sitting in the garage waiting to be put together. believe me I CANT WAIT to get it together and at least give you guys some #s 
and there was an LE3 stock bottom end 350 with a 12 bolt that just put down 420 hp, so in a 396 its definitely achievable. at high elevation? I dont know. drive it to a sea level dyno
