400 rwhp with stock suspension and tires in a 3400 lb car is probably no better than stock(about 5.2-5.5 sec)however, with atleast DR's,and some traction mods mid-high 3 sec are possible.

According to that calculator, I run to 60 in 4.6. That is with probably ~250-260 rwhp.

The calculator said 2.44sec for mine. Seems too quick, but who knows? Again, 0-60 doesn't win races.

That calculator seems a little generous - I doubt I'm hitting 60 mph in 3.83 seconds on ET Streets...maybe 4.1-4.2. I'd think with 400rwhp you could hit 60 in around 3.5 - 4.0 depending on the setup.

My my my, a little "snake dinner"?

I have no idea what my car can run 0-60mph in. But I wouldn't even waste the gas on a stock Viper. Mine's not the fastest 4th gen by a long run, but FWIW and to contribute to your education: with last years configuration I ran a best of 10.66sec @ 135.5mph. That was with 10" slicks, but "granny shifting". Best with street radials was 11.1 @ 134mph way faster than a stock Viper. This year, another 100hp and a race TH400.....no track times yet though!

So what? Vipers could run to 60 faster than that if it wasn't for serious traction issues.

0-60 is as much about traction as it is power.

0-60 mph as we all know does not win races, but it is an indication of how well your car does get up and go.

Using that calculator, which is the same as others out there, I come up with 3.23 seconds. Sounds about right to me. Times in the sig.

My old combo made only 359 rwhp in a 3650 lb car, but lots of rwtq.

From a dead dig, I would have hurt a Viper....

lol........are you serious....I wasn't saying it can't be done.......if you guys haven't forgot it is on 400hp---that is what he wanted to know. And if you can pull a 2.4 on 400 hp then let me know...........you are talking spraying half of that (viper eater)-----so i would think you are making more than 400........lol

lets all bow to the viper eater

lol

I have no idea how accurate it is. I just did a search and it came up. It really doesn't sound too far off for my car but since my speedo hasn't worked for a couple of years I have no idea how fast I am going on the street or at the track.
