I dunno. Most people don't care about time to speed, since it's time to distance that wins races.

That is true. But 0-60 time is an interesting stat. I've always wondered the same thing. It wouldnt hurt to know and compare to C&D's, MT's or some other mags findings of the LT1's time or even other cars just for $h!t$ and giggles.

4.2 seconds with our cars would be my guess.

0-60 is all about traction.

Buy a g-tech, it'll give ya decent 0-60 estimate. I can run 4.8 0-60.

If you were at the track and had good traction with a 1.8 60ft you should be at 45 mph with a 1.7 that shoud be 48 mph But these times have nothing to do with how much HP you have at the rear wheels

Based on my best 1/8 mile stats my 0-60 time is 3.32 seconds.

I would say about 4 sec. If the tires hook up, of course.

That's kind of a neat calculator, but I think it emphasizes how tire dependent 0-60 is. While that program says I can do a 3.5 sec 0-60 time, I think I'd be lucky to do a mid 5-sec 0-60 on the street at a light on street tires.

I put 425rwhp down and that calculates to 2.97 seconds from 0-60mph . I would have never thought that it would be that quick. On ET streets I can leave hard on the street which is what I run around on when I want to play Some guys at a local bar said my car pulled the driver tire off the ground a couple inches one afternoon with 2 people in my car on the spray from a dead stop.

Thats a neat calculator. Is there one like that for converting an 1/8th mile to a 1/4?
