4.11's + LE3 Cam + A4 = :)

Just finished installing a Currie 9" w/ 4.11's in the Z, and my GOD what a difference.. even from 3.73's!

Now all I need is to gather up the $ to send my transmission to CPT and I'll be good to go.

Couldn't believe how strong it felt w/ the gearing. Looking forward to track #'s as soon as possible.

I've had people with the T56 tell me that 4.10s was too much gear for their stroker. I laugh now! I've had 4.10s in my bolt-on car for a couple years now and have put many thousands of miles on it. I'm actually thinking of stepping up to more gear in the future

Badass dude, it makes me want to put 4.11's in my car, but its kinda pointless to spend more $$ on a 10 bolt.

He found out how expensive the tools he needed are.

I'm going with 4.10s in my set up, too...Switching from 3.73s also...I was coming across at 5900-6000 on a 26" tire. Now I should hit 6300 which is right where it should be..Good luck with it....

$300-400 bushing driver set (for the exact 4L60E stuff), $50 spring compressor, and multiple teflon seal installer tools.

I run 26" tires, and will continue to run 26" tires for as long as I can get them to hook. If I run 28" tires I'm going to want to step up to 4.30's.

Wonder what the difference would be on a 700R4? Couple friends of mine rebuilt one the other day with NO special tools. I thought the internals were the same?
