385 Solid Roller Dyno Numbers on E85... 520rwhp

I made a few pulls tonight with short notice on E85. Needless to say i was very pleased with the results.

I ran the car a month ago here in Amarillo at 4900ft density Altitude and went 10.93 at 127mph with a 1.57 60ft, on C12 Race gas and 42 lb injectors.. I switched to e85 the next day and took the car around the block and it seemed to run better, i couldn't really tell with out a dyno or an "A-B" test at the track, but it felt better in the car. I noticed that the injectors were maxing out so i picked some some Racetronix 63 lb injectors.. I put those in last night and tonight decided to see how it dynoed , but i didn't take into consideration that the injector flow rate make take some time to dial in. The car would barely idle and ran like ****, the first pull the car did 300ish hp, lol, i let off and call a good friend for some advice. I made some quick changes to the injector tables and it picked up drastically!! The 2nd pull wasn't enough change and the dyno was recording anyway, on the 3rd pull it did 504rwhp , so i made another change to the injector tables and it did 520rwhp. I literally spent less than 5 minutes on the tune and probably 10 minutes on the phone prior for advice. I have tunes some heads cam lt1 back in the day but nothing of this caliber or had much experience with the XFi systems. I was more please that i got the car from running like crap to running like par in less than 3 pulls and 10 minutes on the dyno before we had to close down for the night ( noise laws)

When i have more time i am going to put the C12 tune back in the car ( and modify it for the new 63 lb injectors of course ) and see what it makes on C12 vs E85. I know one thing $9.00 per gallon for C12 gets old when you can buy E85 for $1.89 for 105 octane and make more power with it..

Dyno video will be up tomorrow check back then....
