385 Le 2.2 H/c

I finally finished my forged 11.8:1 385 LE2.2. I stuck a tune in it from a XFI 268 Cam 383. Wasn't exact but will do until I get into FLP.

The good. Sounds great, pulls real hard with 4.10s, raps unbelievably fast!

The bad, 1st time I went wot in 2nd gear, my built 10 bolt went boom!

So yes, so far LE2.2 is good for me.

Sorry to hear about the 10-bolt, but that shows you what kind of numbers your putting down
Can't wait to hear how she does with a little fine tuning, it's gonna run like a raped ape.

And with a foged bottom end, there's always N20 when you get bored of 4xx rwhp and 11sec ETs

Thanks and you're right. I am very happy this happened near home home instead of 3 hours away next Wednesday on FLP's Dyno!! Or on the front straight at Road America! Funny you mention N2O, I also have a NX Wet kit. I'll keep it under 175 shot thoough. That why I kept the DCR down to 9.0 instead of 9.5 like I was going to do. I am hoping for 11.90's in road race trim on the funny stuff. Seams reasonable.

at least 340ish rwhp that's all my 10-bolt took before it filed a formal complaint.

Mine was handling 500/550 on spray for a few months, its all in how they are built. Of course the last time I changed the fluid I found broken spider gears on my eaton differential...

Sounds great. I went with the LE3.2 for my 383. If you do that good with the 2.2 i can only imagine how this is going to be. I am going with 4.10s also..looks like my rear might not last that long i see...I had planned on getting a built one anyway just want this one to last as long as it can. I am putting every mod i can think of on the engine and doing all the suspension while i am doing this bulid. Then transmission and rear are next on the list.

Welcome to the broken 10 bolt club. Oh and the Heads/Cam/Stroker club too.
