any idea how much (guessing) labor cost would be involved in having a 383 stroker kit installed on a 93 camaro z28???

I have machining estimate right next to me for a local place.

1.Degrease/Inspect............$130
2. Rebore/Hone.................$180
3. Grind block for rods........$75
4. Balance assembly...........$220
5. Assembly of shortblock....$250 w/o cam, $300 w/cam
6. resurface block...............$100

 

He got it about right....just did mine and this it what it cost...

Thermo-clean/Hot tank....................$150.00
Rebore and Hone.............................$150.00
Align Hone Main Saddle....................$120.00
Balance........................................... .$190.00
Clearance the block..........................$250.00

and if your gonna have them put it together it will run you another 3 to 4 hundo.
