How low can they go?
How low can they go?
I found a deal on a 230/236 locally but it has .622/.624 lift with 1.6 rockers which i have.
Supporting mods are:
Ported heads that flow a decent amount more in the .6-.7 range
CM618 springs
Stock lifters
Stock valves
Hardened pushrods
Would it be too much?

it might be alittle to much sence you dont have that much head work done and, i beleavet aht that cam might not work because of the lift being to high, you risk the chance of clearence from the pisotns and such, but i would try getting a little smaller cam but i aint possitive on that, if i were you i would call TPIS and ask them because they know the make lift and stuff like that .
The porting is fairly extensive and the heads could handle the extra flow at the higher lift but could it handle it physically, thats the main question. Is anyone else running this much lift on stock pistons/heads?
