There's 5 pages of them at Summit. Learn how to use the "departments".

(x) Remove Department: Engines & Components
(x) Remove Section: Pistons & Piston Rings
(x) Remove Part Type: Pistons
(x) Remove Bore (in): 4.040 in.
(x) Remove Rod Length: 5.700 in.
(x) Remove Stroke: 3.750 in.

ETC ETC ETC.......

There must be eleventy billion people making Gen I SBC pistons. Are you trying to find pistons specifically designated for the LT1? That may be the problem. They are the same as for any other Gen I motor.

Are you looking for a stock replacement or a forged performance piston?

I had to get a set of custom forged pistons from JE to get the compression I was looking for, they don't make an off the shelf piston with the specs I wanted....They can be expensive, like $1000, but give it a shot, they will build to order.

Just curious, but why a low CR ratio if you aren't running a blower?

rskrause: Currently the CR for the motor is 10.9:1 with those pistons and 54cc lt1 heads.......it is a nitrous motor for now, but in the future I want the option of slapping on a set of larger cc heads to drop the CR down and put a blower and nitrous on it without having to rebuild the bottom end to acompdate a blower....Just planning for the future

Mahle has a -26cc inverted dome piston but yea that lowers compression ratio a bit too much.
Mahle part number SBC425040I26
Summit: http://store.summitracing.com/partde...0&autoview=sku

The SRP -16cc D-dish piston looks good. That's for a 383 stroker (3.75") and 5.7" rod (1.425" compression height) and it's for a 4.040" bore.
#139629 http://store.summitracing.com/partde...0&autoview=sku $560 at summit but then you have to buy the piston rings which would be about $100 more.
