Hey, you're welcome to believe what you want. I'm not playing the internet game where all these people with stock LT1's running low 14's are telling folks how to build a 500hp motor.

I've been there, I ran those rings in my last 383 with a solid roller. I've lashed my valves with those rings and am telling you turning over the motor by hand, it is OBVIOUS that there is quite a bit more friction and frictional losses. Believe what you want man. All I'm saying is that I've already done what you are doing. You don't want to hear it, hey call up Thunder Racing and ask them personally what their experience has been. Sheesh.

The tolerances and specs that the engine builder uses when fitting the rings could make a difference here, and every engine builder has their own style it seems.
