You are going to love that set up. I will be interested to see how Brets cam works with it. I have no idea of what your goals where but you built one hell of a great daily driver that will make great power.

Looks great. What made you go w/ Hellfire rings? That's a harder steel ring isn't it?

Re: 383 FINALLY finished *PICS*

bdc95ta: WAYYY to much $$

Cmr0z28: Hoping for 425rwhp-450rwhp NA somewhere around there. On top of that I am going to be spraying about a 150 shot through a NX wet kit. So lets say 575rwhp-600rwhp on the N2O.

ZBLKHELLRZR: Went with the hell fire rings becuase they are a better ring designed for n2o and boost applications, in the future, I will be slaping a set of larger CC heads on there and dropin the compression down and boosting and spraying it hopefully, but thats WAYYY down the road. Piston to wall clearence and ring gaping is all setup for this future setup already.

looks great!

Did you have to do anything to put that ATI dampner on? I have one for my 381

I've heard different things on the install.

How soon till the dyno/track?

Wow! That looks good and will be a beast for sure..the only thing I dont like(and its just me) is the wires running on top of the valvecovers..beats burning them though!

Great looking engine!

The only thing I noticed is that you don't have the #5 and #7 sparg plug wires crossed. If you don't do this it can lead to inductive firing and can eventually burn a hole in those two cylinders.

Re: 383 FINALLY finished *PICS*

Nice looking setup...

I am curious how your heads flow what they do on the exhaust side. That number seems about 40 cfm high and if you have a custom cam with those numbers in mind....I would concerned.

Where I am coming from is I run AFR 210's with the exhaust side really worked over with my heads running 1.620" valves and huge exhaust ports that flowed 232 @.600 and 251 @.700 with a pipe. My ports are big enough I cannot run normal Hooker LT's(just like yours) because the flange was 3/10's of inch to narrow.

Anyways, looks great.
