Very simple. At the track i will be running a cutout, no air filter (well not really but pretty much no filter), different tires, possibly different gears if i feel like swapping before i go to the track, and i want to turn the engine higher when at the track. I dont want to spin my bottom end to 7k everytime i want to race someone on the street. This is my daily driver after all. Also i want to have a few other things programmed in for the track that i will not be using on the street . To me it makes sense but to some it may not.
