383 cam advice

I need cam advice,I've been going through threads but can't find what i'm looking for. I am putting a forged 383 in my heavyweight 1995 convertible with a 6 speed. Afr lt4 195cc {1031{ , 1.6 cc rockers, lt4 edelbrock intake, 58mm throttle body , 3.73 gears, corsa exaust.
Car is weekend driver and I want enough power to smoke mustangs when need and be a good match for new camero coming out. The builder recommended a cc503 but is it enough.
Also which is better holley or edelbrock throttle body.
Thanks

I have a similar setup in my 94Z but with a built auto and a ford 9" I have a BBK and have had on several other setups and like them. I have a CC503 and really like the streetability and it makes great power although i may go to a custom grind cam from brett baur and have my LT4 intake and AFR heads ported more.
