Re: 383 A4 Est.430 Rwhp
I was looking for my build sheet but i could not find it, but some of the things you want to have include:
stock vette converter works great
Harden' imput shaft
Shift kit
extra clutch packs
dule race sprag
tri-planatary gears
corvette Servo
i believe there is a type of piston in the trans and they make a alum. or steel that is more heavy duty.
the biggest boost valve they make .390? .460? (can't remember size)
(the shift into 2nd is so hard the tires chirp every time around 20-30mph if it is a little bit wet you are sideways, i've broke them loose when it shifts from 2nd to 3rd as well) a good hard shift will help prevent slipping.
using all kevlar clutches and bands will take the heat alot better
a good tranny cooler
deep well trans pan w/ drain plug
after breaking in the trans adding some royal purple if you can afford it will also help it run cooler and reduce wear.
