Trey- you are probably right about that package from cmotorsports.

Nu-tek seems really good with customer business, I have asked for a quote on a custom built block, and I got a reply within 2 hours. I guess its all about the reps of the companies now.

Thanks, been a big help.

yeah, like i said- nuteck is a great company and they have done a few stroker GP's

I just like combo-

Seth is a great guy (and he wears emerica sneakers - i used to be a sales rep for them )
they have great prices and do almost all of their own work. They take time to talk to me about stuff and never rush me about.
They have great customer servce and they support the forum now- That is just extra insurance for me, something you cant get enough of latly.

One guy complains about them and they lose 5 orders. they will take care of you.

when racenet wasn't a site vendor they wouldn't give me the time of day after buying an $800 valvetrain

suddenly the **** hits the fan and they respond (only calling me a liar, then when i got my engine builder to back me up on the forum they shut up)

anyway, both GREAT guys
I just prefer combo.

seth-
if you read this
i checked my school mail box
no free shocks, springs or ford 9''
I guess it was too big to fit in a box
I'm going to go check at the front counter

I always thought you could use 6.125" rods in a 383 and i think scat has a forged set that will work for about 250. anyhow if you could find one with longer rods... it'll make more power.

An assembly that rotates? That is always a good thing.

I didn't get one directly from them, but i discussed my build up in great detail with them.
50% of the reason i did a rebuild was because i wanted to learn how to build a bottom end. I was going away for college and it was my last chance (friends dad taught me).
It would be kinda silly to order a motor wouldn't it

I couldn't be happier with the motor. i wish i woulda talked to them before getting a converter though
ehh, ya live and learn

Don't worry, Bob, few places can compare to Race Prep. Quite a nice shop they got there. There's just something about being surrounded by millions of dollars worth of state-of-the-art Sunnen equipment. Bunch of smart ****'s too

Don't I know it Stephen....I'm definitely at the right place. Bryan & Joe blow me away almost everytime I talk with them...
