All else being equal, a stroker will be more drivable, if anything, than the same heads/cam/etc. in a stock stroke motor. I am not sure what you are getting at.

Well i think i might know what your asking. But a 355 isnt a stroked motor it is simply a 350 bored out. Either motor will give you the Hp to get into the 11s depending on other mods. 383 would be eaiser to make the hp and keep it streetable. Maybe i didnt Refrase the question please.

I'm guessing the 3.55 ratio is your rear end? I thought those were Ford 9 inch gears. if you're putting a 9 inch rear into your car you'll probably want to go with the 383 to get extra power to push it. also I'd recomend the 3.89 gears if you can get some.

Someone told me that there is 3.55 can be installed in the 10 bolt. And as you sed that 383 is eaiser to make the hp and streetable than 355. what is the cost for both 355 and 383 as a package?

Maybe you should post this in "Drivetrain". Since it's posted here, most people think you're asking about displacement, not rear end ratios.

the 383 engine and 355 engine aren't too much different, the machine work is nearly the same as the block has to be bored and decked for both, and a new forged rotating assembly is only slightly more for the 383.

If keeping it N/A, go stroked. If going blown, keep it 355.

383 is the way to go but you will need a 12 bolt rear a big cam and some nice heads to run 11.3`s
