3/8 and 7/16 RR's fit on either size stud?

Some guys on here told me that you can fit both 3/8 and 7/16 stud size RR"s on the stock LT1 head rocker studs. this sounds sketchy to me. Any real techs that know the facts?

picked up a set of RR's and don't know what stud size they fit. What is the easiest way to find out?

Measure the size of the hole for the stud in the rocker arm trunion. What kind of rockers are they?

You use rockers to match the stud diameter, you don't put 7/16 rockers on 3/8 studs.

Maybe he meant that you can use either 3/8 or 7/16 RR's since the studs LOWER threaded portions is the same size[ 7/16]
You can't just use any size RR on any size stud..
You probably have 3/8 RR's [which will fit stock LT1 3/8 [upper threads]studs]
IF you have 7/16 RR's then you can buy 7/16 studs [upper threads] and then they will fit...
Both studs will be 7/16 lower threads where they go into the head..
Also, don't get actual LT4 studs, as they are 10mm threads and have a shoulder on the stud..[confused yet? ]

No no I follow you but I need to figure out exactly what size RR's I have so I know where to go from there. What is the easiest way to just figure out exactly what size they fit if I have no packaging etc. thanks
