im having a set of 3.73 gear put in my 96 ta a4, i was wondering how much it is going to mess up my speedo, and how would i correct it. im also putting some hooker LT's and y-pipe on and if anyone could give me any tips on installing them, that would be great.

for the longtubes, unhook the steering linkage and jack the motor up a bit. they should slide right in. the real problem is getting the stock manifolds off..

 

As far as the speedo, since your car is a 94-up car. You can have it calibrated at a shop or do it with an aftermarket programmer, or LT1 edit.
