3:73 gears
3:73 gears
Just bought richmond 3:73's. install is $300 bucks. is that good? is there any other way to calibrate the speedo w/o using the power prog. or the slp module?! im running around 14.0 now how much of an improvement do you guys expect? came stock with 2:73's....... is their any thing else i should know before the ring and pinion go in?
I think that is about right some charge as low as $200 but I paid $250. I think the programmer is the only way to calibrate the speed or change something in your tranny which might only be on 93's. My guess is if you can hook you can get up to .3 but probably more around .2
Your gas mileage will change 2-3 mpg. You will like the 1st gear to. It jumps out good.

$250 to $350 is your average install price for gears. Go to http://www.madz28.com to get your PCM reprogrammed for the gears. It should be pretty cheap just to calibrate your computer for new gears.
