Depends on the motor. For example, 3.42's are fine for my low revving setup.

I had 3.73's and moved up to 4.11's. So far I have just had to deal with more whining on deacceleration. But overall the 4.11's are more impressive.

Yep, 4.10s and an Eaton Posi here. Pretty nice... no traction in 1st. Just take it easy on the wear in cycle for about 100 - 300 miles.

4.10's if u dont ever want to run sticky tires. 4.10's + sticky tires = broken axles

Gears for these cars are like a double edged sword for sure. its like driving on ice all of the time, put traction on and they break. I suppose you might get away with drag radials for a while, but sooner or later they're gonna break the pathetic little gears. What I noticed most is the car takes off much easier, and accelerates better, but only to an extent. The tire spin is so bad, that 1st and 2nd don't feel like your moving until the tires start to bite. It feels great to fishtail all over the road, but sometimes you wnat to just be pushed back in your seat. Once I throw in a cam, things are going to get real ugly, I can't imagine going any faster. It also feels like you must move up a gear when crusing around. What I mean is where my car was comfortable crusing in the city in 4th gear, now must be 5th. Don't get me wrong I love 4.10s, they really wake the car up, my 5th gear now feels like my car felt in 4th with stock gears. If you plan on going fast at the track, I would seriously consider saving for a 12 bolt with 4.10, so you can get good times.
