255walbro, high or low press.?

here's my new setup.
ported heads. 233/239 .570 cam, 1.6rr., 52mm tbody, ported intake, midlength headers, offroadpipe, 3:73 gears, 3000 stall, ank alot of other small stuff.

well, I searched on walbro, and read about 6 pages. didnt find exactly the answers to my questions.

1)which is better for LT1? high, or low press. walbro's?

2)what will fuel press. be w/stock fpr and either high, or low press. pump?

3)if I end up w/high press. pump, and fuel press around 50psi, why not just adj. tune instead of spending another $100 on afpr? (getting a custom dyno tune anyways.)

4)what fuel press. is the racetronix w/stock fpr?

5)how do you open the bucket? cut it?

TIA
chris

The pumps upper end pressure capability is not a concern unless you are running very high pressures / FI.

The Racetronix F-LT1 system is based around the HP pump as they are more efficient (draw less power at a given pressure) and have proven in our books to have a better reliability factor.

There is only about $10.00 difference between the LP and HP pumps so it is hardly worth marketing both when the HP does a better job of covering both bases.

Remeber it is you regulator which governs system pressure.
