236/242 joe o cam...good for n2o?

Im thinking about buying this along with some heads, but i want to know if it will work good with nitrous or not as ive heard joe o's cams are made for n/a. Not sure on the lift but it's not over .570 and i think its on 108 lsa.

Thanks
James

A suitable nitrous cam is not dictated by the LSA alone....

Would i be better off buying this cam and the ai heads from simple or just saving up 400 bucks more and get an le3 that was made for n2o. Im only planning on running a 150-maybe200 shot.

Thanks

Its on a 109 ,,spray it, just run fuel jet 1 step bigger and you are fine....actually as slightly mentioned, lsa can be tighter on a n20 car or even a supercharged car for that matter...we are not talking about turbos here..

Thanks joe

ive been trying to call you but i dont have long distance so i use a phone card and it looks like its a telemarketer calling so i figured you wouldnt answer.

Ill talk to simple tonight to see if we can work something out. Ive always wanted a joe o cam but shyed away cause i heard they weren't good for n2o. Anyways i wont be spraying till i get a 9 in and rebuild my tranny so it will be awhile.

Hey do you guys think this setup would be able to pull off some low 12s up here at 3500 ft(track location im at 5500ft)? I know simple went 11.98 but that was only on a baseline tune.

Thanks
James

Re: 236/242 joe o cam...good for n2o?

well i have the same goal as everyone else, FAST AS POSSIBLE. well joe said with tunning the cam on my le3 heads should make 450 rwhp. the springs had to have a min. of 180 on the seat and 450 open. if that says anyhting about the cam. it has a .595 lift. i told him to make me something that will shift at 7000, and get 30 miles to the gallon, i think he took care of the first part but im guessing fell short on the later part.

im hoping for mid 11s. on motor. and spray to the 10s. this is a weekend car.

its not quite 10 degees bigger but close.

With an LE3 Heads and that huge cam you should see 470+ rwhp ..
