Finally got my car dynoed

intake is still stock
The dyno guy said that he thinks the afr is still a little lean.

Modifications

Hooker Longtubes with true 2.5" dual exhaust w/bullets

227/233 .560/.569 lift (with 1.6 rockers) 111lsa
1.6 comp cams pro magnum RR
comp cams type r Roller lifters
Comp cams chromemoly pushrods

345rwhp 339rwtq

nice dude. The car has a really nice flat torque curve. How does the car hook up on the street?

Nice dyno graph. The a/f graph does look kinda wacky, up and down like that. But the WOT fueling table in the PCM is like that, up and down all over the place, not sure about '93 but the rest of them are.

Good Numbers

I have the same cam and have similiar numbers, (In Sig). Our mods are similar as well except that I have a set of locally P&P heads. Would you happen to have SAE corrected numbers? The curves also look similar but I was running a good bit richer than you, in the 11.8:1 area.

Nice numbers. This may seem like a crazy question, but I notice that your graph says that the dyno run was in 3rd gear. Is 3rd the gear commonly used for dyno pulls with an M6 car? I know when I did my pulls they were all in 4th gear. Does this make any difference?

whontime....lol, you beat me too it. I seen that earlier but didnt reply cause I had to leave that instant. I cam back and you asked it. I would think 4th gear should be used. In a 6speed, 4th gear is the 1:1 gear ratio...which is what you want for an accurate pull.

nice numbers! The difference between 3rd and 4th shouldnt be more than 3 - 5 hp, not a big deal.

ravigogna, can you post the dyno file? I would like to do some comparisons to my dynos with runviewer. Thanks!

you need a tune bad that A/F chart is crazy. you need to spend some time on the dyno just for tunning.

and there will be more than 3-5 hp difference between 3rd and 4th you should always dyno a m6 in 4th gear.

The dyno was done in 3rd because my rearend is a 2.73 and forth gear takes too long to have an accurate pull.

The heads are home ported and polished. All I really did was take out the casting lines in the intake and port match it to the intake, then polish the combustion chambers and exhaust ports.

The current tune is from Alvin at PCM for less. I sent him the air fuel ratio chart and a datamaster file that the dyno guy made for me and he is sending me another chip.
Hope it fixes my Air fuel ratio wackyness.
