227/233 or 306?
Tearing down my stroker soon to make some changes... in addition to adding compression, 4 bolt splayed mains and an extrude honed superram, I'm going to downgrade the cam to better match the intake manifold. I run a 233/239/112 now. My heads flow 277cfm/195 exhaust and I was hoping to help with exhaust flow some. Cam motion suggested I run a 227/233/114, but maybe I can run the 306 to help compliment the extrude honing (270+cfm through the superram) and help out exhaust flow as well with the 230/244 profile. My current cam doesn't start making good power until 2500 but I have a stock LT1 intake. Comp suggested I stay with it. What do you guys think?
