Difference between 306 and 305 tuning?

As of right now i am running my 305 cam with my pcmforless 306 tuning. I am wondering what the difference is and when i load the 305 program into my computer how the car will react. Will it make the car run leaner, richer etc? Will i notice a difference performance wise?

I think you should notice an increase in power. It may not be huge, but it will probably be enough to notice. I would imagine that it would lean the car up a little with the new tuning. Right now the computer "thinks" it has more airflow than it probably really has and is probably adding more fuel than needed. I don't know for sure, but it is possible.

Timing and fuel. A 306 car will need more timing down low to make reasonable power, and more fuel getting into WOT since the car has potential for more power. There are plenty of reference files on the net to pick from.
