225 + degrees HELP

If anyone out there has a solution to my problem I would appreciate it. I put in a new opti spark, new water-pump, new radiator, and new thermostat and my car is still heating up close to the red. I don't understand why I did everything I could. I have a toggle set up to run my fans continuesly, I bled the antifreeze lines after I did all the new installs. I don't know what else there is too do. Is there a sensor that controls the temperature that I don't know about. Anyone with a tip I seriously would appreciate it. thanks alot

sounds like either you didnt bleed it all the way or you have a blown headgasket.

Make sure that you have the correct thermostat installed. Reverse cooling system, you know.

Re: 225 + degrees HELP

I realize you put a new radiator in the car, but did you also put a new cap on the radiator? Also, are you losing any coolant? I would take my car to a mechanic and have the cooling system pressurized. That way you can find out if there are ANY leaks anywhere.
