would this be a good cam for a basicly stock lt1? I have no headwork done so im thinkin this might not be to little. just lookin for some opinions. thanks

imo, that XE grind is the best for an internally stock car. however, you'll definitely want a full exhaust to let the car breathe.

I'm running that cam with stock heads right now. It's fine. Do some searches on 224/230 or 503 and see what comes up, it's a fairly popular cam.

works pretty nice on the street, I wouldn't go bigger than a 230/236 cam for the street evryday driving, that 224/230 works just fine on stock heads

I had that on my stock bottom end and JPR heads setup, and made 375/363 on the first dyno. Chart Here There was a bit more in it, and I was shooting for 400 at the wheels with 1.7 rockers until the motor went south. This was through ASM Headers, Random Tech Cat and Cat-Back. No cutout or ORP. M6, stock rear.

GREAT cam with an awesome powerband.
