221/227 cam dyno numbers

Had the car tuned at ARE... two thumbs up!

Thoughts on the numbers?

221/227, .542/.560, 112LSA
EX springs
Comp R lifters
Pushrods
Pro Mag 1.6RRs on 7/16 stud.

My MAF is acting ODD! The injectors, fuel pump and MAF have 282,000 kms on them, and the motor has 182,000 kms.

310RWHP @ 5800 RPM
330RWTQ @ 2500 RPM....

Check out my "torque line"...

Three runs HP and TQ

Last run

AF

I have that same cam, but haven't dyno'ed yet, But managed to run a 1.90 60'- 12.9@106 and 1.83 60'- 13.06@108 last weekend sacramento raceway in 80 degree weather and track conditions was horrible. Stock heads and some shorty headers thats about all! Nice cam to say it pass smog!

I just ordered my 221/227 and LLoyd Elliot is doing the headwork for me. I went ahead and got allnew lifters, 30LB injectors, timing chain, and will be getting a larger TB and an Edge 3000 TC to complete the package. I am not sure what I will run in the 1/4 since I am in an Impala @4200 pounds.

What are your mods. Your numbers are low, but if I knew what you had it might explain it. Stock heads obviously, but what about headers? Auto or M6?

you numbers are 20 short of both sides. Many hotcams w/bolt ons hit 330rwhp. What was your fuel pressure and a/f ratio. Try getting a new maf too. Things dont seem right. You should be 340rwhp/355rwtq with a good dyno tune. T ake it to the track too it may be so so on the dyno and drive well on the track.

Mac headers, y-pipe and no cat. M6

The injector duty cycle I didn't check out, but the tuner said they were nearly static.

The A/F as you can see is stable and where it should be, so then the tune must be correct no?

Doesn't the MAF just make trim corrections? What about at WOT on the dyno, does the PCM not go to a dedicated PE table? Would a new MAF really help WOT?

I agree the numbers DO seem low. I think I'm going to hit up another dyno to see for comparison sake.
