I was thinking of ordering richmond gears and at ls1speed.com, they have 2 options... 3.73 gear set, or 3.73 gear set - for 2 series carrier... what does 2 series carrier mean? Any help would be great!

 

first of all, what tranny do you have? second of all do you know what gears are in your rear end now? If you dont, what RPM are you doing at 70Mph? I had 2.73's in my A4 (if you have 2.73's you probably wont be able to manually shift into first because its blocked out on the shifter) and I had to get a 2 series carrier. just tell us this info and we should be able to help out.
