Question 2 questions?

1st: will going from the stamp steel rocker's to a 1.5 roller rocker help in performance at all?

2nd: what kind of hp gain will i see with this. I went down to the shop doing the work on my car today and they just got done installing a set of stage 2 heads on and while i was there they were port matching my headers to the head's will this give me any hp gain doing that or will it just let the heads flow better.

1. it will help conciderably, especially in the upper rpm range because it reduced friction and all that good stuff. Id reccomend going 1.6 if your springs can hold it

2.more flow = more power

Thanks, i just was curious on that issue in port matching the headers i never heard anyone doing that . The heads have new comp springs on them so i think they will hold up to 1.6's but he said to stay with 1.5's due to the boost and flow due to the heads i dont know he is the master im just the pupil i thought it would be a good idea to go with 1.6's but maybe he know'sa something i dont.....

1. You will get less than 5hp I'm guessing. Not worth the money unless you do 1.6 rockers with better valve springs.

2. Yes it will give you more power. Not sure how much.
